• Dear children, male and female students, we are pleased to present to you the Arabic language book, through which we aim to develop the four language skills of reading, writing, listening and speaking according to their relative weights determined in the standards document according to each level and within the time frame specified for them in the subject’s timetable. It was necessary to keep in mind the general framework of the national educational curriculum for the State of Qatar, in addition to the Arabic Language Standards Document, and to provide new educational resources for learners that draw from these two reference documents and derive their authority from them, and from other important national documents in this section, all of which are complementary. ; To place education on the cusp of a new qualitative shift that keeps pace with global developments.
• This book adopted the educational unit as a subject for organizing and arranging to achieve the expected results, and we were keen on integrating the four skills. Reading, writing, listening, and speaking, and on a logical link between texts and achieving the expected results through collaborative interactive activities, and what is related to activating reading performance, linguistic balance, understanding, comprehension, and linguistic patterns. In this regard, the unit started from the reading text to develop comprehension skills, heading towards achieving integration with all other skills. .
• The skills were addressed through multiple and diverse interactive activities, within a framework that achieves effective integration between skills. A single activity may sometimes allow several skills to be addressed; It also allows for partial activities to address aspects of one skill within broader activities to address another skill. We were keen to choose texts that consolidate the values ​​and traditions of Qatari society, preserve its heritage, encourage students to be creative and innovative, develop their abilities, and instill the spirit of belonging and citizenship. As we present this book to our children, we ask God Almighty to benefit them from what it contains, and to fulfill our hope of forming a generation proud of its Arabic language, capable of using the language in communicative situations efficiently, and proud of its Islamic identity.
• In the scope of the noble hadith, the Messenger calls in the noble hadith for familiarity and love in the Muslim community. A Muslim loves for his brother what he loves for himself, and hates for something to happen to his brother that he hates for himself. He treats people and respects them as he would like them to treat him. And they respect him. A Muslim by nature hates evil for others, and carries a message of goodness and mercy for all of humanity, following the example of the Prophet whom God sent as a mercy to the worlds.
